The Bratz dolls have been a sensation since the moment they were released. Briefly:
June 2001 - the Bratz dolls are released with four characters called Yasmin, Cloe, Sasha and Jade.
2002 - The Bratz became the Girl Toy of the Year in the United Kingdom.
2004 - Bratz dolls outsell rival 'Barbie' dolls to become #1 in the United Kingdom. Their first dvd 'Starrin & Stylin' is released.
2005 - The dvd 'Rock Angelz' is released. The accompanying CD 'Rock Angelz' reaches #1 on Billboard's Children's Chart and #79 on the U.S. Billboard top 200. The single 'So Good' reached #14 in Australia and #23 in the UK.
2006 - 4 dvds are released: 'Bratz - Genie Magic', 'Livin' It Up With Bratz', 'Bratz - Passion 4 Fashion Diamondz' and the hand-drawn animated movie 'Bratz Babyz: The Movie'.
2007 - 'Bratz: The Motion Picture' has begun filming and is scheduled to be in theaters August 2007.
